1960, while studying Industrial Design at San José
State College, I was required to take a number of art
courses, including sculpture. The class really sparked
my interest, so while working as a designer, I made
sculpture at night in my garage.
After a number of commissions and one-man shows, I went
back to school at Wichita State University and received
a BFA in Sculpture. I continued to work in the design
field, while building sculpture at night.
This
website shows a cross section of my work of the past
forty years. I now work full time on sculpture and build
models used in industry, some of which are included
here in the model gallery.
My wife, Alice, and I have lived in Lake Delton, WI
for over thirty years. Our two grown daughters have
left, but our cats still like us.
